Sun City is one of the newest night clubs in Kota and to my knowledge one of the most luxurious. For those who think there are only crappy, seedy discos in this part of town, I strongly encourage you to come to Sun City and see for yourself. The night club is actually part of a bigger entertainment complex, featuring a hotel (mainly rooms for short-time sex actually), a spa, a karaoke (see photos above), a ballroom and a Chinese restaurant.
If you are looking for a place to organize private parties, it has an awesome room that has a small bowling alley inside... how crazy! It has become really popular, especially among the Chinese community and with Asian travellers (mainly from Malaysia and Singapour). On week ends, it's always packed and happening. My only regret is that even though there are many girls, most of them are prostitutes and they seem to be accompagnied (no freelance girls but I invite you to comment if you disagree).

At the beginning of the night, everyday, there is a live band with frequent breaks during which they have (no nude) fashion/lingerie dancers who appear on the podium in the middle of the room. Great atmosphere, and not trashy. After midnight or so, there is a DJ playing house/progressive tracks. The sound system is excellent. People usually end up dancing on the podium completely drunk, making it a real fun place to party in Jakarta.
