Tips Aman Menggunakan Aditif buat Mobil

Pabrikan mobil memang tidak menyarankan Anda menggunakan aditif pada kendaraan Anda. Tetapi jika memang Anda terpaksa menggunakannya karena BBM berkualitas agak susah ditemui di jalanan seperti di daerah misalnya, Anda bisa menggunakan cara ini. 

Penggunaan BBM yang tidak memiliki kualitas tinggi akan membuat mesin mobil mulai terasa tidak smooth. Apalagi mobil-mobil keluaran terbaru zaman sebenarnya sekarang membutuhkan bensin setidaknya dengan angka oktan minimal 90. 

Jika menggunakan BBM dengan angka oktan di bawah 90, akan terasa penurunan performa kendaraan. Nah untuk mengatasinya, penggunaan aditif memang menjadi salah satu pilihan. 

Pihak pabrikan sendiri tidak terlalu mengharamkan penggunaan aditif, asalkan penggunaannya benar. Misalnya aditif hanya diperkenankan satu macam saja, jangan mencampur berbagai aditif BBM sekaligus. 

Penggunaannya pun dibatasi. Jika untuk mobil-mobil di kawasan Eropa, Australia, disarankan aditif digunakan sebanyak 1 botol di tangki BBM setiap kendaraan melaju 15.000 km. Sementara untuk mobil di luar kawasan tadi, penggunaan aditif disarankan sebanyak 1 botol di tangki BBM setiap kendaraan melaju sejauh 5.000 km.

Café Gitane Kemang (Jalan Benda Raya)

Café Gitane is a small and intimate French Restaurant in the south Kemang area, located on Jalan Benda Raya. The place is owned and managed by French people who are cooking and serving your dishes. Inside the restaurant, everything will remind you that you are in a French restaurant, from the Gitane logo ( French brand of cigarettes) to the posters of Pastis or the nice bar counter.

I went there 2 times and it was always full (good thing when to have a small restaurant!). The food was good and the service was pleasant. Try the crème caramel for dessert, you won't be disappointed !

Overall: Café Gitane is good if you want spend time in a cozy and intimate place while having simple good French food.

Paul Bakery and Patisserie ( Galeries Lafayette @ Pacific Place Mall)

Paul Bakery is now open in Jakarta, since December 2013. It is located right outside of Pacific Place Mall, near the Galeries Lafayette Department Store. You have 2 entrances : one for the Restaurant, if you want Dine-in, and one for the Bakery and Pastry shop.

I know Paul Bakery in France which is a widespread Bakery chain. Outside of France, it has a more high class positioning. I went there for Lunch and I took a "Croque Madame", a sandwich with cheese, turkey and egg sunny side-up,  with a salad on the side. There was nothing fantastic about it. I took an Orange juice as a Drink and it was very watery, I could barely feel the Oranges ! In my opinion, the food in the restaurant is average, there's nothing fancy about it ( except for the price).

On the opposite, the Bakery side is very good. They have a whole range of French and European bread which are among the best in Jakarta ! Same thing for the Pastries which are delicious and very tasty. I had a Strawberry Mille-feuilles and it tasted incredibily good. The French Croissant is also very good and is made with real butter.

Overall: I am glad that Paul Bakery and Patisserie finally arrived in Indonesia ! So if you go there, I would recommand the Bakery entrance to try the authentic French-style pastries and tasty croissants.

Spanky's Ribs and Martinis (American Restaurant in Kemang)

I went to Spanky's Ribs & Martinis in the Kemang area. This is a pretty recent Restaurant, opened in early 2013, proposing Western food (mostly American) and elaborated cocktails.

This American Restaurant is located on Jalan Kemang Raya, in the busy Kemang area, and offers a wide variety of Meat ( pork and beef, BBQ style), sandwiches and healthy dishes. I tried the specials of the house "the baby back pork ribs" which was very tender and cooked on a grill, which is great for BBQ ribs. The salad on the side was too light for a 185 000 Rp dish though. Globally, high quality ingredients are used in the kitchen, as for the Chocolate Truffle Cake, a real delight !

The food Menu is quite elaborated, for Jakarta's standards and food can be delivered to your home through the website Foodpanda.

I loved the decoration, full of American black and white pictures and wooden objects. The bar is also impressive along with the cocktail menu.
