Big dark, loud disco. On its website (Sands Clubs Jakarta), it pretends it is the biggest one-stop entertainment in Asia. But I don't even think it's the biggest in Jakarta!
The club is oriented towards chinese clients mostly, with regular mandarin singers invited to perform, chinese food at the restaurant, chinese songs in the karaoke, chinese girl companion, etc..

It's so close from Novotel Hotel, which belongs to French group Accor, I thought it was part of it, but apparently it's not the case... It would have been weird for the brand to own a massage parlour in Jakarta! The Sands Club plays Techno Kota or live music and has special "Funky House" parties on Sunday afternoon. These parties are always quite lively because you have a mix of drug-addicts who haven't slept since friday night, plus normal guys/gals who escape from the mall to go clubbing.
Sexy dancers, apparently from China, are dancing on the podium every hour or so. It also has a spa and karaoke, opened until 2am. Quite crowded when I was there, it's one of Mangga Dua's most happening places regarding nightlife and entertainment.
