Update June 2011: One Tree Bar is now closed and replaced by Maxi Bar.
One Tree bar is owned by Bartele, a very successful Dutch entrepreneur in Indonesia. One Tree is similar to his other places: A simple, unpretentious place to meet other expats. No crazy partying here, but a nice place to have a drink. Not a girlie bar, even though it's located in one of Jakarta's red light district.
I like the special "Lesbian night" on Mondays and the all-you-can-drink draught beer night on Thursday..
